OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL- Movéo Integrated Branding, a full-service branding and communications firm, has been recognized by the 22nd Admissions Marketing Advertising Awards for its 2006 re-branding communications campaign for Waubonsee Community College.

Movéo’s work garnered three distinctions: two merit awards for the college’s “See Yourself Succeed” prospective student brochure and Fall 2006 Noncredit Schedule, and a first place gold award for the redesign of Wabonsee’s logo/letterhead.

“We’re thrilled to have been selected along side so many renowned colleges and universities,” said Paula Amenta, Director of Marketing and Communications at Waubonsee. “It only confirms the tremendous response the new brand has already received from both our staff and students, and the educational community at large. Thanks goes to Movéo for their abundant expertise.”

The Admissions Marketing Advertising Awards are the oldest and largest educational advertising awards in the country. This year’s competition drew over 2,100 entries from more than 1,200 universities, colleges and secondary schools from all 50 states and several international institutions. Entries were judged by a national panel of advertising/marketing professionals, professional educators and the editorial board of Admissions Marketing Report, a leading monthly marketing publication for higher education.

“Working with Waubonsee has been enormously gratifying for our team,” says Brain Davies, Partner at Movéo. “Partnering with a great institution like Waubonsee to reach out to students and encourage them to better themselves only increases our drive. We’re looking forward to building on this momentum throughout the rest of 2007 and helping Waubonsee’s brand become even more prominent.”
