DPM/IDEACUBE Announces Name Change

OAKROOK TERRACE, ILLINOIS – Davies, Pacheco and Murphy Advertising, Inc., a 15 year old full-service marketing communications agency and brand consultancy, and IDEACUBE E-media, its six year old Internet marketing subsidiary, announced that as of midnight March 30, 2003, they would form a single company named Movéo Integrated Branding. Movéo (pronounced: mo-VEY-o) is a Latin word meaning to move mentally, influence, affect, excite or to cause a result.

“The name is a good fit in light of the significant changes we’ve made to our business model over the last year and a half,” said Brian Davies, who along with Robert Murphy and Waldo Pacheco, is one of the three founding partners of Movéo. “We have a new organization, new offerings, new marketplace focus and even new offices. Our new name reflects this forward momentum,” said Davies.

Movéo’s business model involves collaboratively partnering with clients in four select marketplaces – healthcare, technology, services and manufacturing. The firm’s integrated service offerings have been expanded to include market dynamics, brand strategy and brand communications. These offerings have been architected to help brand owners align their brands with their overall business strategy to produce bottom-line results.

While many communications firms have been downsizing in response to the sluggish economy, Movéo has been staffing-up. “We’re moving in a direction that has been attracting an array of talent to the firm. We put a premium on knowledge and innovation because our future depends on our ability to create brand-building ideas,” said Davies.

For employees of Movéo the new name provides a clear picture of the direction the company is moving, with a unique new word that can be trademarked worldwide. “Movéo expresses what we have become as an organization, as well as what we hope to be in the future,” said Davies.
