OAKBROOK TERRACE, ILLINOIS – Movéo Integrated Branding, a hybrid brand consultancy and marketing communications firm, has earned one silver and two merit awards in the 26th Annual Educational Advertising Awards. The competition is the largest education marketing competition in the U.S., receiving over 2,500 entries from more than 1,000 schools.

In the Outdoor Transit/Billboard category, Movéo captured a silver award for trailer graphics created on behalf of Elgin Community College in Elgin, IL. The 53-foot-long trailer serves as a mobile “green energy” classroom, powered by solar panels and wind turbines. Movéo was also recognized for its Elgin Community College student viewbook, which received a merit award for schools with between 10,000 and 20,000 students. All of these materials were developed as part of a major rebranding effort for the college that was led by Movéo.

In the Television Advertising category, Movéo earned a merit award for a 30-second commercial. Created on behalf of Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, IL, the spot showcased alumni who have achieved success in their chosen fields.

“In recent years, higher education advertising has become one of the most competitive segments in marketing industry,” said Bob Murphy, Managing Partner at Movéo. “To have our creative work stand out in such a crowded field is a deeply gratifying achievement.”
