Primary Care Physicians Campaign
Primary care physicians are the lifeblood of any hospital, feeding admissions to the hospital and patient referrals to the specialist base. Since most physicians are affiliated with multiple, many times competing, hospitals, it is critical for a hospital to establish and maintain good relationships and top-of-mind awareness with this source.
Saint Francis, an award-winning, full-service hospital in Evanston, IL, identified a need to increase the visibility of physicians affiliated with their hospital in the hopes of achieving three goals:
- Increase client bases of primary care physicians affiliated with the hospital and, therefore, the chances for referrals to Saint Francis and/or its specialists
- To demonstrate good will toward, respect for and support of the physicians affiliated with Saint Francis, and thereby increase referrals to the hospital
- To encourage residents of Chicago's North Shore community to take advantage of the many health-and-lifestyle benefits of choosing one of the outstanding primary care physicians of Saint Francis Hospital.
